We're a family business that grew up alongside the office parks we maintain.
Wayne Christensen founded Preserve Lane in 2011 with one F-350, one mower, and a single 4-acre HOA in Johns Creek. Fourteen years later, we maintain over 1,800 acres of commercial property across metro Atlanta — and we still answer the phones on the first ring.

Wayne grew up working summers for his father, a sod farmer outside Gainesville. He moved to Alpharetta in 2003 to manage grounds for a regional REIT, and spent the next eight years watching national landscape companies churn through office parks the way a bad restaurant churns through servers.
In 2011 he bought a truck and went out on his own. The premise was unglamorous: show up when you said you would, do the work you said you'd do, and call the property manager before they have to call you. By 2014 we had eight trucks and our first hundred-acre contract. By 2020, snow response added a winter shift that lets our team work twelve months a year.
Today the company stays deliberately small. We turn down work outside a 45-minute radius of our Alpharetta yard. We don't franchise. We don't sub-contract our core services. The result is the kind of accountability that's harder to find than it used to be.
Four operating principles, written on the wall in our shop.
Storms, holidays, snow days. The properties we contract still need eyes on them.
When something goes wrong on a property, we tell the property manager before they tell us.
We don't bid outside a 45-minute radius of Alpharetta. We've turned down work to keep that promise.
Every crew leader runs through 80 hours of paid training before they touch a property alone.
The people you'll actually work with.
A second-generation Georgia landscaper. Wayne handles every account over twenty acres personally.
Runs the route board, the fleet, and — quietly — most of the company.
Twelve years in commercial property management before he joined the green side.
Certified irrigation contractor (CIC). The reason your water bill stopped climbing.
Georgia Master Gardener. Picks every plant on every enhancement we install.
OSHA 30 trainer. Builds the daily tailgate cards every crew reads at 6:45am.
