Boring on purpose.
The most interesting thing about a great safety program is how rarely you have to talk about it. Here's the unglamorous detail.
Training
Every Preserve Lane crew leader holds an OSHA 30-Hour General Industry certification. New hires complete 80 paid hours of in-house training — equipment, chemical handling, vehicle operation, customer conduct — before they're scheduled solo. We run a 10-minute tailgate safety briefing at every crew, every morning, year-round.
Equipment
Our fleet is GPS-tracked. Mowers are inspected daily on a written checklist. Chainsaws, blowers, and pesticide rigs are serviced on a manufacturer-recommended interval, not a "when it breaks" interval.
